Hello, my name is Kristin.
Life long designer. Creative problem solver. Big picture thinker.
With over twelve years experience in design, my background is grounded in traditional print publication design, visual brand identity and management. My inclination towards authentic experiences for users and clients has guided my transition into user experience (UX). To better understand this booming field and my approach to its practice, I am currently a full-time UX Graduate Student at Bentley University.
I like to work. My clients call me talented, diligent and collaborative. A “crouching tiger, hidden dragon” … their words, not mine! I want to join organizations who are putting their best foot forward with creative and informed design—towards their goals, vision and mission.
Let’s get to it!
What my clients are saying:
“Kristin is the rare combination of exceptional design talent, big picture business thinking, and collaborative team leadership. Her ability to make a picture say a thousand words while fully understanding the context in which her work would be leveraged is one of her greatest assets. She has always been the type of collaborator to understand what the business was trying to accomplish before creating a piece of design that would help the team achieve its goals. She continually challenged herself and her team to think about the way their work would be consumed by the end user to ensure the work was best positioned for all channels – digital, print, media, etc.”
– Greg Tucker, Integrated Digital Marketing Director, McGladrey
“Working with Kristin is a dream. Her eye for both design and detail is astounding. From the very first conversation, she not only understood the purpose of our product, but immediately started delivering ideas and concepts that perfectly matched our tenor and ethos. I can say without equivocation that our final product is significantly better for having worked with Kristin, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a top notch designer.”
– Barrett Garese, Digital Strategist and Entrepreneur, Spytap Industries
“I have worked with Kristin for several years now. She is a rare breed – classically skilled and trained in design with the technology skills to be an effective designer in the new age of marketing. She is has an incredible talent for transforming ideas/projects into effective and creative marketing components in all mediums (print, web, collateral, advertising, etc.). She has a strong sense of brand management and consistently delivers solid high quality results.”
– Sheila Estes, Marketing Director, Putnam Associates
“I strongly recommend Kristin. Working with her has been a 100% positive experience. …We called Kristin back to handle design duties for our Parish Profile, a key component in our search process for a new rector. It was a mammoth production with all the problems of dealing with a very active committee. Kristin was a true team player. She took it all in stride and – with exceptional good humor – created an outstanding end product. I’m sure you will see from Kristin’s work and her personality that she is a talented and versatile creative person who is a pleasure to work with.”
